I liked Rot and Ruin because of its suspense. I think most of my friends would like this book. Broken Lands. Jonathan continues to teach the celebrated Experimental Writing for Teens class, which he created.

Benny and his brother Tom are very good characters, developed well with realistic logic and feelings. Then you need to read the Coffeehouse Mysteries. Everyone looks up to Tom. Before I read the book I wondered if it would be too graphic or violent for a twelve year old boy.

It was just enough to keep me trucking alone. What I thought was going to be a predictable zombie story line turned out to false. He believes that Henry, has been murdered. It is an example of post- zombie apocalypse setting.

Benny has a crush on Nix, and the relationship proceeds just as I think a young adult relationship should proceed and the lack of physicality shows the young reader that a mature relationship involves more of a friendship than sex. Working your butt off for the rest of your life. I was so glad i found it. Ih the book opens right into a seemingly normal teenage life where zombies happen to tot the town.
