I often walk in the door exhausted after a day of teaching, to kids who have heard English all day. Even though my brain just wants a break, they need these hours to be in my non-native language. So we grab one of my childhood favorites, cuddle up under a blanket, and get the best of both worlds. I do too! Grade 1. I totally recommend this book. It will enthrall children of all ages. Welcoming drawings, good translations clearly visible on each page. The illustrations are also very beautiful.
I might be saying that the book contains two languages in the text or I might mean that the book was simultaneously published alongside another version in another language. Sometimes a book in English will be published in a new language in a subsequent year. I count them all! As far as I can ascertain, the more the merrier.
