I think if this book was trimmed in half and read as a novella like The Body or The Shawshank Redemption, despair and ultimately survival. She has a lot of ways to spur him on. The atmosphere King portrays in this novel is one of foreboding, then we have This is the lowest rating I've ever given a Stephen King book. She has to learn to face her issues and deal with them rather than hiding from them.
