Berkheimer Tax Administrator is the appointed tax collector for Jackson Township and Seneca Valley School District for the collection of the Local Earned Income Tax.  Any resident of the Township who is employed is required to register for this tax.

In addition to the Earned Income Tax, Berkheimer bills and collects the Seneca Valley District Flat Occupation Tax for Jackson Township.

The Seneca Valley School District Flat Occupation Tax is billed at the beginning of August each year.  This is a $10.00 resident occupation tax levied on residents of the school district 18 years of age or older whose earnings exceed $3200.00 (Homemakers, students under 18, and those on disability, pensions or social security are exempt).  The School District Occupation Tax should not be confused with the Occupational Privilege Tax that is withheld by the employer each year.
